Washing

All of the Multi Solution Gate models offer a brushless wash with high precision nozzles that perform high-pressure washing both over and underneath the aircraft.  While the RS-500 has both washing and de-icing capabilities, the RS-400 is designed for ordinary washing and inspection of aircraft only. The RS-400S has a built-in functionality that will de-sand an aircraft (both body and engine) quickly and safely.

This automated system is designed for all Code C/Group 3 size aircraft and smaller and is pre-programmed for each aircraft model.  The system will wash according to existing procedures for each aircraft, and special washing programs can be designed by demand and/or specifications from various airlines.  The washing time is approximately 20 minutes, depending on the aircraft model and the kind of program requested.

MSG recommends using only manufacturer approved cleaning agents for washing of aircraft.

With the Multi Solution Gate, all de-icing and washing is done in a covered facility with closed loop systems significantly reducing the possibility of discharges into the surrounding environment. The majority of all spent fluids are collected and available for a variety of recycling options.

Compared to traditional de-icing methods, there is a minimal amount of equipment movement needed around the aircraft. De-icing and anti-icing processes are fully compliant with industry regulations. Final aircraft inspection takes place in a covered, well-lit environment.
